SynXis Property Hub reports for Wyndham owners: which six to subscribe to and what they catch

DeskWatch · 2026

SynXis Property Hub (SPH) is report-driven rather than pack-driven. Instead of one nightly PDF, the property subscribes to the reports it wants and they arrive on a schedule. For an owner watching the desk, six are enough.

How SynXis differs from choiceADVANTAGE

There is no "All Night Audit Reports" bundle. Under Reports → Subscriptions a user picks reports, a schedule and recipients. Most reports run for Yesterday, Today, Month-to-Date or Year-to-Date; a few (Cancellation Reasons, Reservation List) are day-only, which is why the subscription matters — history accumulates only if it is being sent.

SPH also prints some things Choice does not: the Credit Card Log carries card details per transaction (so refund-to-a-different-card is checkable), and Early Departure is its own report.

The six reports to subscribe to, daily

ReportMenuWhat it catches
Corrections and AdjustmentsAccountingWrite-offs: code, amount, user, folio, date. The core report.
Reservation ActivityFront OfficeCreated / modified / cancelled events with date and user — the only place cancellation history lives across days.
Cancellation Reasons DetailsFront OfficeYesterday's cancellations with reason text and time. Day-only; subscribe so it accumulates.
Rate OverridesFront OfficeWho changed which rate, from what to what. Filter out the system integration user (channel updates) to see desk overrides.
Cashier ClosingAccountingShift takings and drawer. Note: some configurations print no drawer count, in which case the difference columns equal the takings and must not be read as shortages.
Credit Card LogAccountingEvery card transaction with last-4 and refund flag. Refunds to a card that never charged the folio.

Add Transaction Totals Detail (Accounting) if you want the footing — postings by code per day — and room numbers on adjustments; it is large (a year runs to 1,800 pages) but it is what makes a write-off defensible.

What SynXis does not mark

SPH does not flag a booking as "guaranteed" or carry a no-show status the way Choice does. The working proxy is a reservation cancelled after its arrival date: on one AmericInn property that proxy found 19 such bookings in August, $4,696 not collected, and over $32,000 January to July. Present it to the owner as "cancelled a day late", not as "no-show", and let the policy decide what to do about it.

Setting up the subscription

  1. Reports → Subscriptions → New.
  2. Pick the six reports above; range Yesterday; format PDF (CSV too if offered).
  3. Recipient: one address that a reader can pick up — for DeskWatch, your property's packs@ address.
  4. Time: 30 minutes after the audit closes.

Nothing else changes. The GM keeps receiving whatever they receive today.
